American Airlines land 2026 World Cup sponsorship

May 9 – American Airlines is the latest big-name corporation to partner with FIFA stumping up an undisclosed amount of dollars to become the Official North American Airline Supplier for the 2026 World Cup. Qatar Airways maintains its position as the Official Global Airline Partner.

Both airlines will collaborate to create special offers and opportunities for soccer fans. American Airlines has already launched sweepstakes through its AAdvantage loyalty programme, giving members the chance to win World Cup tickets.
