ROBLES AND ABNE WIN WBA REGIONAL BELTS

TALISAY CITY,CEBU - Berland Robles (11-0-1,4KO’s) of the Philippines remained undefeated when he won the WBA South flyweight title against Chenghao Luo (7-2-1,4 KO’s) from China in the main bout of the card billed as ENKWENTRO 14.

Robles built an early lead by peppering Luo with jabs and one-two combos. Luo showed his resilience and kept himself in the fight by pressuring Robles. Robles had his best round when he trapped Luo on the ropes but he could not finish him off.
