Stipe Miocic reflects on career in first statement after UFC 309 loss to Jon Jones

Stipe Miocic issued a lengthy statement Monday after his retirement in the Octagon at UFC 309 on Saturday night.
The former UFC heavyweight champion, who posted a 20-5 record in his pro career, thanked his coaches, his opponents, his wife, and the fans in the social media post.
