Kremlin says Russia ready to assist Transnistria in gas sector

Russia will be ready to assist Transnistria in dealing with the gas crisis. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this on January 16.

"Moscow will be ready and willing to provide assistance to Transnistria, at the same time, purely logistically, of course, actions must be taken here that ensure gas supply and contracting on the part of Moldova. Here so far we have not heard any statements about readiness to do this," he said at a briefing.
