- Netflix’s “House of Cards” actress Robin Wright said she had to take on two more roles on set to earn the same amount as her co-star Kevin Spacey. The 59-year-old Forrest Gump and Wonder Woman star said she was told she wouldn’t be paid equally because she “didn’t win an Academy Award,” but still fought for wages equal to Spacey’s $500,000-per-episode salary. Other successful women like Wall Street titan Sallie Krawcheck and actress Gillian Anderson have shared similar wage discrimination experiences.
