Akram, Valizhonov Win WBC Asia titles

OPBF Female 130-pound title holder Laura Akram (5-0, 4 KOs) successfully captured the vacant WBC Asia Female 126-pound title when she stopped formerly undefeated Pimlapat Roikaew (4-1, 1 KO) on Saturday, May 2, at World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

This fight garnered significant attention from Thai boxing fans, as Pimlapat is considered a rising star and one of Thailand’s leading female fighters in both boxing and Muay Thai.
