GE Lighting’s new Matter-compatible smart shades start at just $300
Sure do look like shades.
GE Lighting is launching smart shades at CES that come in at a pretty reasonable (for motorized shades, at least) $299.99. They're not the cheapest smart shades out there. SwitchBots start at just $199, but they're still quite a bit more affordable than Lutron's, which start at $399. They should look pretty sleek, too, since they hide all their mounting hardware.
The new GE shades come in white or gray with silver trim and offer either light filtering or full blackout options.
