I had a little photo shoot this afternoon with this Polistes fuscatus (Northern Paper Wasp) that was stuck to my kitchen window. And why not seize the opportunity! With everything black in the background, the flash completely obscured the outside scenery by bouncing off the glass... a little “night” style. The wasp, for its part, seems to be saying...
