Kazakhstan's youngest olympian makes his debut at the games

Tengrinews.kz – The freestyle acrobatics team from Kazakhstan competed in the qualification round at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. One of the competitors was 16-year-old Asan Asylkhan, marking his Olympic debut. Four Kazakh athletes participated in the event: Asan Asylkhan, Sherzod Khashirbayev, Dinmukhamed Raimkulov, and Roman Ivanov. The best result came from Roman Ivanov, who finished 13th after two qualification rounds, just 5.3 points shy of the 12th place, which would have secured him a spot in the final.
