Threads to roll out unique new feature with no direct equivalent

Tengrinews.kz – Meta is testing a new Threads feature called Dear Algo, a tool that lets users directly tell the algorithm what they want to see. The option is not available everywhere yet, but it could change how the feed is shaped and what people see on the platform. Meta says Dear Algo is powered by artificial intelligence and gives users more control over recommendations. The idea is simple: instead of the algorithm guessing your interests based on likes and follows, you can explicitly ask it to show more or less of certain content.
