Powerful 6.2-magnitude earthquake shakes Istanbul
Tengrinews.kz – A powerful earthquake struck Istanbul on Tuesday, with tremors felt across multiple districts.
According to Yeni Şafak, the initial quake measured 3.9 and occurred off the coast of Silivri. It was quickly followed by a much stronger tremor, reaching a magnitude of 6.2. Witnesses said the shaking lasted around 10 seconds. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or major damage.
