Arteta opens up on tactical move that shaped Brentford draw

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has clarified why Eberechi Eze was replaced during the 1-1 Premier League draw with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Gunners were held away from home in a tightly fought contest that saw both sides share the points.

Eze began the match in midfield but found it hard to stamp his authority on the game.

The England international struggled to influence proceedings and was taken off at the interval for captain Martin Ødegaard.
