Digi Yatra trials for international passengers begin at seven airports, wider rollout likely in 2027

Trials for the Digi Yatra facility have commenced at seven airports across India for international passengers. This service is available on a trial basis for Indian nationals with e-passports. It will initially operate on select international flights by Air India and IndiGo. Digi Yatra utilizes facial recognition technology to enable seamless movement at airport checkpoints.
