West Bengal announces government jobs for families of political violence victims dating back to 2001

The West Bengal government has introduced a scheme offering Group D government jobs to one eligible family member of people killed in political violence in the state since January 1, 2001. The initiative covers spouses, children and, in cases involving unmarried victims, siblings, subject to eligibility conditions.
