16-year-old girl goes to meet boyfriend, 'gangraped' by driver, 2 others in Jharkhand

A 16-year-old girl was gangraped in Palamu district, Jharkhand, while returning home in an e-rickshaw. She was returning after trying to meet her boyfriend, whose parents had arranged his marriage to someone else. The police arrested three suspects, aged 20 to 38 years, on October 31 based on the girl’s statement. They have been charged under the BNS and POCSO Act for their involvement in the incident.
