Karnataka to bring legal framework for official state flag, says D K Shivakumar

Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar announced plans to grant official status to the Kannada flag. He stated that the flag would be hoisted alongside the national flag on government buildings. The matter will be discussed in the upcoming Belagavi legislature session. Shivakumar emphasized that the flag symbolizes Kannada culture and self-respect. The winter session of the Legislative Assembly begins on November 30, lasting until December 11.
