Manipur tensions flare after killing of three Kuki-Zo volunteers; rallies demand peace, SoO pact abrogation

Fresh tensions have emerged in Manipur after three Kuki-Zo village volunteers were killed in Noney district, with the Kuki Inpi Manipur accusing NSCN-IM and ZUF(K) cadres of carrying out the attack. Meanwhile, rallies in Imphal and Senapati called for lasting peace, rehabilitation of displaced people and scrapping of the Suspension of Operations agreement.
