80 feet above ground, 3 railway lines below: Nagpur Metro's 257-metre bridge uses construction technique that eliminates the need for scaffolding

Nagpur Metro is constructing a 257-metre-long elevated bridge nearly 80 feet above railway tracks at Uppalwadi as part of its Phase-II expansion. The structure will cross three railway lines and is being built using the balanced cantilever technique, eliminating the need for scaffolding beneath it. The project is part of the 6.92-km Reach-2A corridor towards Kamptee.
