Manipur begins poll preparations, appoints 11 nodal officers for 2027 elections

Preparations for the 2027 Legislative Assembly elections are now underway at the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer in Manipur. Nodal officers have been assigned to coordinate various activities essential for the electoral process. A comprehensive review of election readiness was conducted by senior Election Commission officials across all 16 districts. Furthermore, a workshop focusing on the reliability of Electronic Voting Machines has been carried out.
