From anthems to definitions, the WNBA keeps doing dumb things, and the reason for it will leave you speechless

Searching for a late snack outside Chase Center on Monday night after the Golden State Valkyries took care of the Atlanta Dream in Game 5 of the WNBA Finals, I found myself rather speechless.

A woman dressed in a lavender Valkyries jersey saw the media credential around my neck, and, as I stood at the counter of a restaurant trying to decide what to order, she offered to pay for my meal.

As we chatted, she said that she appreciates so much the media coverage that the WNBA gets because she is such a big fan.
