Rahul Gandhi gets relief as Sultanpur court dismisses 2018 defamation case

A Special MP/MLA Court in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday dismissed a 2018 criminal defamation case against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over alleged objectionable remarks against Amit Shah, then BJP president. Gandhi appeared before the court for the verdict. The complaint was filed by BJP leader Vijay Mishra in August 2018.
