JD(U) expels Anant Singh, wife from party for 6 years

Janata Dal (United) has terminated Anant Singh's primary membership for six years due to his actions. Anant Singh campaigned for Jan Suraaj candidate Anuj Singh against the party’s nominee Neeraj Kumar, exacerbating conflicts. Union Minister Lalan Singh attempted to mediate between Singh and Kumar, as tensions have increased over the years. The party acted after repeated violations of directives and derogatory remarks against leadership.
