Turkey does not see fighting Houthis under Saudi defence pact, minister says

Turkey's Defence Minister Yasar Guler stated that their troops will not engage in combat with Houthi rebels. The military support for Saudi Arabia is intended to enhance deterrence, similar to support for Qatar. After the Turkish parliament ratifies the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, requests for military support will be evaluated. The pact establishes a commitment for collective defense among Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
