Vikram Solar to roll out first cells from 9 GW Tamil Nadu facility in December 2026

Vikram Solar’s 9 GW N-type TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in Gangaikondan, Tamil Nadu, is on track to begin production in December 2026. The plant will be commissioned in phases, reduce the company’s dependence on imported cells and advance its integration roadmap towards domestic manufacturing from ingots and wafers to finished modules.
