Andhra SEC extends nomination process in four urban local bodies

Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission has extended the nomination period for four Urban Local Bodies. This decision follows a directive from the Supreme Court after incidents of violence during the initial nomination process. YSR Congress Party raised concerns regarding the safety of their candidates, resulting in the court's intervention. The final list of candidates will now be published on October 25 before the elections are held on November 1.
