India’s announced private capex pipeline rose 39% year-on-year to Rs 99.7 lakh crore in September 2026, driven by IT-enabled services and conventional power projects, according to UBI Research. However, sectoral and geographical concentration, slower growth in project numbers and gaps in power transmission investment pose execution risks to the investment cycle.
