Duty of Opposition to oppose govt and seek regime change through polls: Congress

Congress has rejected the government's accusations that Opposition protests aim to create chaos and destabilise the nation. The party emphasises that it seeks regime change only through elections rather than unlawful means. Spokesperson Pawan Khera stated that opposing government policies is an essential responsibility of the Opposition in a democracy. He referenced former president Pranab Mukherjee's belief about the role of the Opposition.
