‘Why did you make potato curry?’ UP woman hospitalised after husband bites her, hits her with stone over dinner

On October 12, a woman in an Uttar Pradesh village was assaulted by her husband over dinner preparations. Her husband became angry when he was served potato curry before attacking her. He allegedly bit her and struck her head with a stone, leaving her unconscious. Neighbors took her to the hospital, where her condition has since improved. Police have registered an attempt-to-murder case against her husband, who remains absconding.
