Hitachi CEO calls for stronger grid connection amid growing power demand

Hitachi Energy's CEO Andreas Schierenbeck emphasized the importance of strong grid connections for rising electricity demand. He noted that over 500 GW of generation projects in Germany are awaiting grid access. Kirsty Gogan highlighted that India's energy consumption per capita is significantly lower than the OECD average. The country would require an eightfold increase in energy supply to meet average levels.
