Panic in Dallas: Cowboys defense holds emergency summit as season spirals after Bucs loss
Five weeks into the season and fresh off an embarrassing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Dallas Cowboys are already breaking out the oldest crisis gimmick in football: the defensive players-only meeting.
Sitting at 2-3 and watching their defense get pushed around on a weekly basis, the entire unit gathered behind closed doors on Monday morning to air out their issues.
Cowboys LB DeMarvion Overshown described the session as a blunt "heart-to-heart."
"Looking ourselves in the mirror," Overshown said.
