NTPC in talks with Japan, South Korea, Germany for green fuel exports

NTPC is currently engaged in discussions with potential buyers from Japan, South Korea, and Germany. The company aims to establish a green hydrogen hub in Andhra Pradesh for producing green ammonia and methanol. These green fuels are becoming increasingly important for industries seeking to reduce emissions effectively. With government support of approximately $2.1 billion, India plans to produce five million metric tons of green hydrogen annually by 2030.
