Carlsberg India's operating consent for its Alwar brewery was revoked due to high particulate emissions. The brewery's pollution levels were reported to be eight times above the limit allowed. As a result, the company has been ordered to shut down the facility immediately. This closure could impact supplies in Rajasthan but occurs after peak summer season sales.
