US made no formal F-35 fighter jets offer to India: IAF chief

Air Chief Marshal A P Singh addressed the media regarding the absence of an official US offer for F-35 jets. He humorously highlighted the US restrictions on their access to the aircraft. Singh also mentioned no final decision has been made regarding the Russian proposal for Su-57 fighter aircraft. The Indian Air Force is currently evaluating its future combat aircraft requirements and self-reliance in defense manufacturing.
