Election Commission caps Form 7 applications to curb bulk objections to voter rolls
The Election Commission has introduced limits for submitting Form 7 applications to manage objections against electoral rolls. Individual voters can file a maximum of ten objections during special revisions and five monthly during continuous updates. Political party agents are allowed to submit objections in bulk, following strict limits. Applications after deadlines or not following procedure will be rejected by electoral registration officers.
