Supreme Court sets up panel on judicial well-being, Justice KV Viswanathan to head
A Standing Committee on Judicial Well-being has been formed by the Supreme Court to address mental health concerns. This committee will focus on various challenges faced by judicial officers, including workload and work-life balance. Chaired by Justice K V Viswanathan, it consists of members from different backgrounds, including psychology and law. The initiative follows research on the working conditions of district judiciary officers conducted by the Supreme Court.
