Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles suffers health scare after taking helmet to the stomach during celebration
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles had every reason to celebrate after his team pulled off an impressive upset win over the Dallas Cowboys.
So, when he was seen grimacing in pain on the sideline while down on one knee as the clock wound down on the Bucs’ 24-16 win Thursday at AT&T Stadium, it was an alarming scene.
However, it turns out the 62-year-old was in pain because he took a helmet to the stomach during the Buccaneers’ celebration after they intercepted Dak Prescott to help seal the win, according to ESPN.
