Coca-Cola looks to sell Costa Coffee, Semafor reports

Coca-Cola is reportedly seeking to unwind its $5 billion acquisition of Costa Coffee after a failed sales process. The beverage company previously scrapped plans for selling Costa due to low offers from private equity firms. In 2018, Coca-Cola acquired Costa in its strategy to expand into healthier beverages. A strategic buyer considered a deal for Costa but ultimately passed on the opportunity.
