Nepal wraps up Rasuwa flood search; shifts focus to rehabilitation, reconstruction

Following the devastating flash floods on August 26, Nepal has officially concluded its search and rescue operations, which sadly saw 1,455 confirmed fatalities and many people still unaccounted for. A meeting convened by Prime Minister Balendra Shah of the National Council of the NDRRMA focused on transitioning towards urgent rehabilitation and reconstruction initiatives for the affected communities, highlighting the significant need for a swift response in these regions.
