10 buses destroyed in major fire at BEST's Anik depot

On Monday evening, a fire broke out at the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Anik bus depot. The fire started around 5:45 pm and destroyed ten new CNG-run buses parked in the yard. Firefighting teams quickly responded with multiple fire engines and tankers to control the blaze. Eyewitnesses reported hearing explosions likely caused by the buses' CNG tanks during the fire incident.
