HDFC Bank names ICICI veteran Anup Bagchi as MD & CEO

HDFC Bank new CEO: The Bank has appointed Anup Bagchi as its new Managing Director and CEO, effective October 27. He will succeed Sashidhar Jagdishan, whose term ends on October 26. Bagchi has a long history with ICICI Bank, serving in various roles for over three decades. The Reserve Bank of India approved his appointment following an assessment and feedback. Bagchi's experience includes leadership roles in banking, insurance, and financial services.
