Gujarat family travelling to US goes missing, relatives get ₹1 crore ransom call from Ethiopia

Three individuals from Gujarat went missing in Ethiopia after traveling illegally to the United States. Their families report that the group paid agents ₹70 lakh each for their journey to the US. After arriving in Ethiopia, the families claim the group was abducted and ₹1 crore was demanded for their release. A missing persons complaint was lodged after the family lost contact on September 22.
