Keralam targets 100 percentage renewable energy by 2040

Keralam aims to meet its entire electricity demand through renewable energy by 2040. KSEB (Kerala State Electricity Board) and the World Resources Institute (WRI) India, in a joint workshop, discussed the state's rising power requirements and measures to increase the share of renewable energy in meeting overall demand which would contributed by increasing number of electric vehicles, greater use of air conditioners as temperatures rise and other factors.
