Asian Games 2026: Indian sabre, foil teams bow out in quarterfinals

India's men's sabre team achieved a significant 45-27 victory over the Philippines in the pre-quarterfinals. However, they faced elimination after a 25-45 loss to Korea in the quarterfinals. In the women's foil event, the Indian team lost 14-45 to Japan after defeating Indonesia in the round of 16.
