Harsh Goenka has criticised the trend of turning temple visits into publicity events, questioning the use of photographers, selfies and influencers at religious places. In an X post, he also questioned VIP darshan at Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja, saying that a billionaire, celebrity and ordinary devotee should be equal before God and asking why everyone cannot stand in the same queue.
