Navitas Solar to invest over $1 billion in clean energy expansion

Navitas Solar intends to invest 100 billion rupees in Gujarat and Maharashtra over the next five years. This investment will support the expansion of solar ingots, wafers, cells, modules, and battery storage. The company is already constructing a 2.4 gigawatt solar cell plant in Gujarat, with operations expected to begin in July 2027. Additionally, Navitas is developing solar parks in Maharashtra with specified capacities.
