Shutdown observed in several parts of Ladakh on first anniversary of September 24 violence

Leh and other parts of Ladakh observed a shutdown to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the September 24 violence that left four people dead. Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk led led a symbolic 'padyatra' in Leh on Wednesday. A judicial inquiry report related to the incident has yet to be publicly released.
