FAA says Trump arch with signal flame got no special treatment in review

The US Federal Aviation Administration said there was no political interference in its safety review of President Donald Trump’s proposed 250-foot triumphal arch near Reagan Washington National Airport. FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford said the project underwent the same obstruction assessment as other developments, despite concerns over its proximity to flight paths.
