50 litres per customer: Private pumps ration diesel as oil shock deepens

Private fuel retailers have started limiting diesel sales at their pumps due to rising crude prices. Several Jio-BP outlets have imposed caps on diesel sales per customer and daily limits. Nayara Energy outlets have similarly enforced restrictions for transactions within certain limits. However, state-run oil marketing companies continue to sell fuel without restrictions at their stations.
