Delhi govt sets up 110 collection centres for damaged idols, 81 artificial ponds for Ganesh immersion

The Delhi government is establishing 110 collection centers for the disposal of damaged idols and religious items. These centers will facilitate eco-friendly practices during the Ganesh festival celebrations, promoting cleanliness in public spaces and water bodies. In addition, 81 artificial immersion ponds will be created across all districts for Ganesh Visarjan. Devotees are encouraged to use these designated sites and to avoid polluting natural water bodies.
