Milan Pradhan can contest Nandigram bypoll, Calcutta HC observes

The Calcutta High Court recorded the West Bengal government's submission that five of the six cases challenged by Congress' Nandigram bypoll candidate Milan Pradhan had been closed. The court verbally observed that Pradhan should contest the polls. Pradhan's lawyer said the court had granted protection until October 12, while Congress leaders urged Nandigram voters to support the jailed candidate.
